Larry "Clay" Kendrick was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, Christian and Texan.

Clay passed away on October 18th at the age of 62.  He was born on August 10, 1961, in Breckenridge, Texas to Janice Karen Ellis and Larry Eugene Kennedy. Tracy, his beloved wife, and Clay were about to Celebrate their 36th anniversary on October 24th.

Clay graduated from Lewisville High School in 1979 and participated in multiple sports. Shortly after graduation, he joined the Air Force and retired as a U.S Veteran from 1981 to 1985. He graduated from Texas Aero Tech in 1989 with his A&P license and soon after was hired by Delta Airlines in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked as an aircraft mechanic for 32 years until retiring in 2020.

Clay never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone he met with a kind word and a smile on his face. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf trips with his high school buddies every year. Clay loved kids and he loved sports, particularly Baseball and Football. He spent countless hours coaching his boys and looked forward to every Dallas Cowboys season regardless of the team's record. He loved living on the beach, fishing, and gardening and would share his harvests with friends and neighbors. Clay loved his Family, Christmas, and his Lord Jesus Christ.

Clay is survived by his loving wife Tracy, son's Catlan and his wife Shannon, Conner, and his wife Elizabeth. His Mother Karen Lang, sister Amber and her husband Terry.  He was "Pa-Paw" to Carter, Charley, and Colbie.

A Service to celebrate Clay's life will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, TX.
