Koeun Prum, 88, of Lewisville, TX, passed away on August 20, 2024 after a long and fulfilling life. She was born on January 9, 1936 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and migrated to the United States of America in 1973.

Koeun enjoyed reminiscing about riding elephants in her childhood, frequenting the Cambodian Buddhist Temple of Dallas, getting you out of the kitchen because she was head chef, talking to the family dog as if it was her grandchild, watching anything action-packed and cheering for America's Team. With her great sense of humor, she always knew how to cheer people up.

Koeun was predeceased by her husband Roeun Prum (1934-2014). She is survived by her five children: Sophath, Vibol (Donna Talley-Prum), Tia Prum-Foy (Charles Foy), Sam (Susie Magana), Nay Maston (Terry Maston);

Extended family in Massachusetts: Charlie Ye and Selena Hang and their three children: Annie (Van), Alexia (Jack), and Sam (Leap);

Grandchildren: Kevin Pha, Preston Foy, Jennifer Ramey, Joshua Talley, Megan Guinn, Brandon Talley, and Cash;

Great-grandchildren: Chloe Duncan, Claire Ramey, Cadence Reynolds, Cate Ramey, Charlotte Ramey, Dustin Talley, Madelyn Talley, and David Talley.

Service will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home – 740 Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067 on Sept. 6 at 10 a.m.

Burial to follow at Old Hall Cemetery – 1200 McGee Lane, Lewisville, Texas 75067.
