Kirk L. Grummer, age 44, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away on July 5, 2023.  He was born in Flint, Michigan on January 8, 1979.  He was a loving husband and devoted father.

He graduated from Downers Grove North High School, in Downers Grove, Illinois and earned his master's degree in business administration from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.

He was married to Amanda Grummer.  They were blessed with two incredible children, Alexandra & Aidan, whom he cherished more than anything.

Kirk was the proud President & CEO of AP Americas Inc. where he sincerely enjoyed spending time with his driven and dedicated colleagues in the United States and around the world.

Kirk was passionate about sports throughout his life and was a loyal fan of his favorite teams.  He was a dedicated basketball player in his youth and loved spending time at the gym.  He was a proud coach to many young athletes that played alongside his children on their basketball, volleyball, soccer, and t-ball teams.   His favorite sports moments came from the times he watched his children compete.

Kirk had endless love for his family and friends that surrounded him and lifted him up in his life.  He had a special relationship with every single one of them.  He was adored and loved by all of them, very deeply.

Kirk will be severely missed by his wife and children because he was their best friend and their rock.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Amanda, and his children, Alexandra & Aidan.  He is also survived by his adoring Mother, Mary Grummer, Dearest Brother, Dale Grummer (Charisse MacKenzie), many aunts, uncles, cousins, and 14 nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Okey & Edna Shaw and Grandparents, James & Stella Peters.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Flower Mound, Texas. Visitation/Viewing will be held at 1:00PM in the Narthex of the church prior to the start of Mass.
