Kathrine "Kathy" Ann Davidson, 79, of Lewisville, Texas passed away, March 13, 2024, with her family by her side.

She was born on January 7, 1945, to the late Macyl Elton "Smitty" Smith and Mary Frances Heath. Kathy attended Lewisville High School and was a retired long-time employee of State Farm.

She was married to Duard Alfred "Buster" Davidson in 1962, who preceded her in death in 2006. They made their life in Lewisville where they grew up together, and she was a devoted wife and mother. Kathy is survived by her son, Ted Davidson and his wife Valerie of Jacksboro, Texas, her daughter Beverly Bland and her husband Jason of Denton, Texas, seven grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, sisters Linda Ramsey and Mary Nell McKay, and her brother Mike Smith.

Kathy had countless friends, and she could always bring a smile to anyone's face with her amazing, unique, and sometimes unexpected sense of humor. She enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, and classic movies. Her family meant the world to her, and she particularly loved being a grandmother. Her grandchildren brought her so much joy, and when she would meet their friends, she insisted that they call her "Granny" too. She always had great words of advice as well, her favorite two being "oh well".

Kathy's final wishes were that she would not have a funeral, as she didn't want her passing to be a sad event. Instead, a Celebration of Life will be held on May 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the chapel at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, TX 75067. Put on your happy face and bring your sense of humor! Kathy desired this to be a happy event filled with laughter and good memories.
