Val Tominey, age 91, of Lewisville, TX passed away on November 1, 2025. Kathleen Valgine (Val) Golias Tominey was born on August 10, 1934, to Steven and Helen (Pachan) Golias in Punxsutawney, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, and by her loving husband of 55 years, Matthew (Matt) Tominey I, and their son Matthew Tominey II. She is survived by her children Anne (Ray) Garrett, Susan (Stuart) Anderson, Kathleen Roberts, and Elizabeth Tominey; 10 grandchildren Kristine, Matthew (Jaclyn), Helen, Catherine (TJ), Lauren (Dylan), Lindsey, Margaret, Gilbert, Jordan, and Jake; and great grandchildren Lyric, Steven, Tansy, and Leif.

Val spent most of her adult life as a devoted, loving wife and mother, and retired professionally from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers in 1998. She was the constant and true focal point that held this big family together. She will always be missed and forever loved.

A funeral mass will be held on November 19th at 11:00 AM at Saint Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 5201 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, TX.  A committal service will be held at 2:30 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
