On Sunday October 15th, 2023, Julene Wooldridge, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at the age of 81.

Julene was born on January 22, 1942, in Centalia, Ill. to Loyd and Mary Hurt. Julene graduated from Healdton High in Oklahoma. She took many courses of Psychology and Sociology at Richland College in Texas.

Julene was born in Illinois, raised in Oklahoma, but has lived in Texas for over 63 years. She met her husband Terry when they were both employees of Texas Instruments. After three weeks of dating, they were married in June of 1964. They both continued working at TI until their retirements.

Julene climbed the ladder of success starting as an assembly worker and finished her tenure as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the then CEO of Texas Instruments, Jerry Junkins.

Julene was a Volunteer starting in 1998 at Medical Center of Lewisville and received the Frist National Humanitarian Award. She was also a volunteer for the Texas Instruments Lewisville Recreation Center and was involved both March of Dimes Walk and the American Heart Association programs. She also in past gave her free time to the Friends of the Lewisville Library.

Julene was preceded in death by her husband Terry, her brother Gary Hurt and nephew Aric Hurt.

She is survived by Daughter Cheryl Fillmore and husband Winford. Grandchild Winford Fillmore II and wife Felicia. Great Grandchildren Ava Fillmore, Christian Gonzalez and Ethan Gonzalez. Sisters Theresa Brantley and husband Larry, and Denise Hurt. Sisters in Law Karen Derouen and Debra Stanley. Brother in Law David Wooldridge and wife Linda. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
