Judith (Judy) Ann Few passed away peacefully in her home August 27, 2023, surrounded by her close family.  This ended a six-year fight with cancer.  Born in Ardmore Oklahoma on August 9, 1951, to James and Onita Duncan, she graduated from Plainview High School in 1970, and married Dale Few on September 15, 1971.

Judy is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years, Chief Master Sergeant Ernest Dale Few; her daughters and sons-in-law Angi and Ed Hagins, and Laurie and Steven Van Ooyen; her four grandchildren, Hunter Hagins and his wife, Maddy, Sam Van Ooyen, Anna Van Ooyen, and Max Van Ooyen; her siblings Carol Jean Bloomfield, Nita Stubbs, Tommy Duncan.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Linda Clayton, Jimmy Duncan, and Ricky Duncan.

Judy was Dale's great support system through his career as Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard. She gave birth to Angi & Laurie in Garland, TX where she and Dale were members of Richardson Heights Baptist Church, where Judy participated in multiple Bible studies.

In 1983, Dale & Judy moved just outside Royse City, Texas where Angi and Laurie would graduate high school and Judy supported the girls in every activity.  During this time, they began attending Lakepoint Baptist Church in Rockwall, TX.

Dale and Judy supported both Angi & Laurie's education at the University of North Texas where both of their daughters' earned degrees and found their respective husbands.

Though Judy held various jobs, mostly in the mortgage and banking industries, while raising her daughters, family (including that of the military) always came first.  Judy was an accomplished seamstress, incredible baker, and highly resourceful shopper for the things her girls required.  Judy was a leader of the wives supporting their husbands in the Air Force & Air National Guard where Dale served, collectively, over 38 years.

Judy's greatest achievement, according to all who knew her, was her family.  Judy was the perfect Mimi.  She supported, instructed, taught, and led her grandchildren by example.  She exemplified the importance of personal responsibility and grit.  She fought fiercely, to the very end of her earthly battle, to be there for her family.

It is a testament to her joyful nature, encouraging spirit, strength, and character that, when that earthly end drew near, her visitors came from a multitude of different groups with which she interacted, if only for the briefest of times.

Judy, Mama, or Mimi, will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
