Josephine Ann Clark (JoAnn), 85, of Flower Mound, TX passed away on May 27, 2025 at her home in Flower Mound after a long battle with cancer. JoAnn was born on February 14, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY to Charles and Maria Bartola.  She grew up in Brooklyn and Clearwater, FL before moving to New Jersey where she met her husband of 52 years.

JoAnn married Stephen W. Clark (Bill) on October 10, 1964 in Bergenfield, NJ. She was an active military spouse and volunteer. Her volunteer work included helping sick and abused children, assisting the elderly, participating in Coast Guard projects, and, most importantly, serving the Catholic church through numerous charitable activities.  She received several awards for her volunteer work including the prestigious Order of the Golden Swivel Shot Award for being a Coast Guard Wife Extraordinaire.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; son, Robert Timothy Clark; brothers Charles and Romi Bartola; and her parents Charles and Maria Bartola. JoAnn is survived by her son, Christopher Clark; daughter-in-law Margaret (Peggy) Clark; grandchildren, Lindsay Clark, Stephanie Feo, Kristin Clark, Stephen Clark and Allison Clark; and great-grandsons Louis and Otis Feo.

A Memoriall Service will be held at 2pm, Tuesday June 17, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Coppell, TX with Father Henry of St. Ann Church officiating.

A private Internment to reunite her with her husband will be held Wednesday June 18,  2025 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.

Arrangements are by Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, Lewisville, TX.

Memorials may be given to St. Ann Catholic Church or Coast Guard Mutual Assistance.
