Joseph John Daniel, age 75, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

He was born March 8, 1948, in Winona, Minnesota, to Vincent Daniel and Esther Merchlewitz. He married Ann Marie Nickelson on June 23, 1973, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Joe served in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and did a tour of duty during the Vietnam War.  After moving his family to Texas in 1981, he spent 32 years working for Wrico Stamping Co as a machinist. Joe was a member of RockPointe Church in Flower Mound, Texas, had a heart for serving others, and loved hugging people. In his free time, he enjoyed working with his hands in his home and garden, playing cards, camping, and being a jokester. He is preceded in death by his son Nicholas, parents Vincent and Esther, and siblings Michael, Margaret, John, Larry, Pat, Steve, and Tim.

Joe is survived by his wife Ann, son Kevin Craig Daniel and wife Trish, daughter Kimberly Suzanne Daniel Townsend and husband Clint, 11 grandchildren: Kayli, Isabel, Amanda, Walker, Ariana, Jonathan, Emma, Anthony, Joshua, Hallie, and Olive, and 1 great-grandchild: Asher. He is also survived by five siblings: Teresa, Dennis, Marie, Doris, and Geri, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at RockPointe Church, Parker Square, in Flower Mound, Texas, on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 11:30 AM TO 1:30 PM.
