Joseph Allan Coe passed away peacefully at his home on September 16, 2026, entering Heaven to be greeted by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born May 15, 1947, in New Britain, CT, to the late Charles & Estelle (Kowalski) Coe, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, who adored her "Joey Boy" as she lovingly called him; daughters Karen of Torrington, CT, Sharon of St. Amant, LA, and Colleen Werner (Neil) of Orlando, FL; step-son Brian Milano (Rita) of Hickory Creek, TX; grandchildren Kendall Milano Van Brocklin (Kyle), Jordan Werner, Collin Milano, Alexis Werner, Kori Werner, and Hunter Werner; and great granddaughters Penelope Santiago (Kendall), Lacey Werner (Alexis), Phoebe and Felicity Van Brocklin.

Joe was one of 7 siblings and is also survived by his brothers Charles "Sunny" Coe, Jr. (Marge), Ronald, Dennis, Gary (Susan), along with a multitude of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters MaryAnn Stewart and Theresa Dombkowksi.

If you ever met Joe, four things that were learned quickly was his fierce love for God, family, church, and country, in that order. As straightforward as he was known to be, he was also notorious for his corny jokes and was aptly crowned "The King of Corn" by his family. One of his most familiar sayings was "I might be a nut but at least I'm on the right bolt." Above all else, he understood the call of duty first as a soldier in the United States Marine Corp., then on April 13, 1983, after trusting Christ as his Savior, he faithfully served as a soldier of the Cross. When God placed you in Joe's life, the most important question he would ask was where you would spend eternity. His deepest desire was to live Proverbs 11:30, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise."

You leave a big hole in the hearts of those of us left behind, and although you will be greatly missed, there is no doubt when you stood before your Maker you heard the words, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant…enter thou into the joy of thy lord."
