On December 29, 2024, at 5:59 PM, Heaven welcomed another angel as our beloved Papi, Jose Luis Gutierrez, peacefully departed this world. While our hearts are heavy with his loss, we find comfort in knowing his pain has ended, and he is now reunited with his father, Antonio Gutierrez. Jose Luis is survived by his devoted wife, Maria Magdalena Gutierrez; his children, Richard & Angie Garza, Monica Walker and Yayo Guevara; his seven grandchildren Alexis, Ricky, Jason, Alec, Adrian, Aaron and Jeremy; his treasured great-grandchildren Tina, Analeia, Josiah and Vivianna; his Mother Elida Ramirez-Gutierrez; his siblings Antonio Jr., Rolando, Maria Teresa, Hector, Ramiro and Eliseo Gutierrez; and many Brother and sister in-laws, Cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jose Luis was a rare soul, someone who asked for so little in life yet gave so much to everyone around him. He loved fiercely and selflessly, always putting the needs of others before his own. His humor, comfort, and strength were gifts to everyone who had the honor of knowing him. He's a light in our lives that will never be dimmed. His laughter, warmth, and love will forever remain a part of us. Though his physical presence is gone, the light he brought into our lives will never fade. Heaven shines brighter with him there, and his spirit will live on in our hearts and memories.

Jose Luis will be missed beyond measure but never forgotten. Until we meet again, Papi, we love you and carry you with us always. Viewing service will be held at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home on Friday, January 10, 2025 between the hours of 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Memorial service will be held at Iglesia Bautista Fundamental 975 Fox Ave Lewisville, Tx 75067 on Saturday January 11, 2025.  Live stream will be provided please visit https://www.ibflewisvilletx.com. He will be laid to rest at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville, Tx immediately following the memorial service.
