Johnny Wayne Jernigan

Born August 25, 1942, in Big Springs, Texas to Ollie Brint Jernigan and Cora Lee McGuire.

Johnny passed from this earthly life into his heavenly home with his Savior on January 15, 2024.

Johnny is survived by his children, Tammy Spooner and spouse Sam, Terri Melton, Melissa Sprabary and spouse Paul, Brian Jernigan and spouse Sarah, Charity Startz and Greg, grandchildren Heath, Coy, Sidney, Callie, Hunter, who awaited to welcome him to his heavenly home with open arms, Haven, Kenzie, Garrett, Alyssa, and great grandchildren Cash, Ryland, Leighton, Teagan, Maislie, happily awaited baby Smith, Brooklyn, Victoria, Autumn, and Olivia.

Johhny lived a simple, but valuable life loving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all his heart. He believed in hard work until his last days, and he loved spending quality time with his kid's sharing stories over a pot of coffee. He was surrounded by his children as he was welcomed into his heavenly home.
