Joan Kay Sisk
May 14, 1942 – May 29, 2025

Joan Kay Sisk went home to our Lord and Savior on May 29, 2025, at the age of 83. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love.

Joan was fiercely loyal to her family and loved unconditionally. Her warmth and generous spirit were felt by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. She also had a special love for her dog, Ditto, whose companionship brought her great joy and comfort.

In addition to her devotion to family, Joan was an expert fisherman who found peace and happiness on the water. Whether casting a line from the shore or in a boat, she had a gift for patience and a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty of nature.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Harold Kent Sisk; her two daughters, Karen Kochheiser (Mark Kochheiser) and Kim Cooper (John Cooper); and her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Amy Kochheiser, James Leininger (Rebecca Leininger), Randy Cooper, Michael Cooper, Luke Leininger, Emma Leininger, and Nathaniel Cooper.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit remains ever-present in the hearts of those she loved. Her favorite saying was, "Love you to the moon and back," and we will always love her just the same—to the moon and back.

No public services are planned. The family will hold a private celebration of Joan's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
