Jo Marie Aaron Renfroe died in Garland, Texas on December 15, 2024, a month short of her 100th birthday.

She was born in Lewisville, Texas on January 16, 1925, to Grady H. and Bessie Legrande Aaron. She graduated from Lewisville High School in 1942.

Jo Marie retired after a successful career in the insurance industry. She was an excellent cook, and she enjoyed traveling and lively conversations. She was a good, kind and gentle woman and was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Jo Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Renfroe, her sons Johnny Thomas and Jimmy Pair, her brother Grady Aaron and wife Wannell, her brother Glenn Aaron and wife Betty, her brother Frank Aaron and wife Marguerite, and her brother Alvin Aaron and wife Betty.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Alice Thomas, her granddaughter Colleen Marie Thomas Smith and husband Brett Smith, her great-grandsons Noah Smith, Asher Smith and Luke Smith, and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. on December 18, 2024, with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas, followed by a graveside service at Old Hall Cemetery.
