Jimmy Franklin Ramsey

July 8, 1935 – June 27, 2024

Jimmy was born on July 8, 1935, in Irving, Texas to Sam Henry and Nettie (Conley) Ramsey. Jim went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 27, 2024. He married Barbara Maples in 1978. He served as a deputy Sheriff for Dallas County from 1969 and honorably retired in 1985.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Ramsey; daughter Tammy Ramsey; parents Sam and Nettie Ramsey; brothers Tom Ramsey, Gene Ramsey, Hershal Ramsey, Jack Michael Ramsey, and Roy Lee Ramsey; sisters, Helen Taylor, Annette Williams and Jo Hilliard.

He will be loved and missed by is son Jim Brady Ramsey along with many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, his brother Ray Ramsey and Family.

There will be a funeral service Monday, July 8, 2024, 11:00 am, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel, 740 S. Edmonds Ln., Lewisville, TX 75067. The visitation will be at 10:00 am prior to the service.
