Jimmy Adam Mata

April 22, 1978 – September 16, 2026

Jimmy Adam Mata, of Corinth, Texas, passed away on September 16, 2026 at the age of 48. He was born on April 22, 1978, in St. Joseph, Michigan to Eva Granado and Rogelio Madrigal Jr.

Jimmy enjoyed traveling, good food, spending time in the company of close friends along with his family, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. He will be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him and the memories he created with the people he loved.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Rogelio Madrigal Jr.

He is survived by his loving mother, Eva Granado; Loving wife, Carol Mata; his sons, Benito Mata and Isaac Mata; and many other relatives and dear friends who will deeply miss him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home on Monday, September 28, 2026 from 6-8 PM.

Flowers may be sent to Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, or memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with final expenses.
