Jessica Ann Woodard Frisbie passed away, Saturday, December 24, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 70. Jessica was born on September 25, 1953; the oldest child of Jesse J Woodard and Nancy Ann Healy Woodard in San Angelo, Texas. She grew up in San Angelo and Austin Texas. She was a proud native Texan and a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-Day Saints.

A practicing hospital floor nurse for many years, she received her nursing degree from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas and was certified to work with critically ill infants. Jessica was an avid outdoors enthusiast and had many varied hobbies including rock hounding, fishing, and horseback riding. She loved to travel, always desiring to stop at each point on a trip to sample the culture and see the sights.

In early 1977, she met her future spouse, Steve Frisbie, after moving into the apartment next door. After Steve graduated from Angelo State, they married on August 13, 1977 and went on to have a family total of 5 children; Stephanie McConnell, Steven (Aaron) Frisbie, Adam Frisbie, Ashlea Milne, and Seth Frisbie.

At the end of a long nursing career and after raising a family, Jessica retired in Lewisville Texas to enjoy her newly found down time, enjoying family time and watching old John Wayne western movies.

Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Jesse J Woodard and brother William (Bill) Woodard and a son Steven Aaron Frisbie.

Jessica is survived by her husband of 46 years Steve and her mother Nancy Woodard of Denton, Texas and daughters Stephanie McConnell of Dallas, and Ashlea Milne of Lewisville, Texas; sons Adam Frisbie of Argyle Texas and Seth Frisbie of Lewisville. Two siblings, Orland Woodard of Denton Texas and Mark Woodard of Sweeney Texas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4000 Nazarene Drive, Carrollton, Texas at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 30th, 2023.

She will be buried at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center in Coppell Texas.
