Jerry Dale Morris, 75, of Corinth, TX passed away suddenly on August 24, 2023.

Jerry was born and raised in Harvey, IL on June 16, 1948, but also spent much of his youth in Tennessee. After graduating Thornton Township High School in 1966, Jerry married Linda Susan Morris (Sue) in 1967 and began a 45 plus year career with Andrew Corporation (later Commscope) while raising two children.

In 1979, Jerry transferred his family to Denton, TX where he continued his career. He loved to boat, fish, and play golf. Once they were empty-nesters, Jerry and Sue settled in Corinth, TX.  In his retirement years, Jerry loved to play Sudoku, garden and be a wonderful Pawpaw to his grandchildren.

Jerry was predeceased by his wife Sue of 36 years and his parents Lee Dowell Morris & Nancy Edith (Wilkinson) Campbell. He is survived by his children, Jenny Spindler and husband Scott and Tommy Morris and wife Kia; his four grandchildren, Alexia Morris, Alani Morris, Jordan Morris, and Carlos Gordon. He is also survived by Roger Morris and wife Debbie, Phillip Morris and wife Ronnie, Lea Morris Restaino and husband Nick, John Lauritzen, and Susan Golec.

We welcome all who knew and loved Jerry to join us for a celebration of his life on September 30, 2023, at the Monterey Ballroom of Sneaky Pete's at 12 noon.2 Eagle Point Rd, Lewisville, TX 7507.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Denton Humane Society.
