Jerry Lee Hammond, born November 7, 1958, in Oblong, Illinois, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was the beloved son of Patricia Moore (Gangloff) of Portola, California, and Jerry Monroe (Virginia) Hammond of Casey, Illinois.

Jerry was a devoted husband to his wife, Donna Ward Hammond, with whom he shared a life full of love, commitment, and cherished memories. He was a proud and loving father to his sons, Joel Hammond (Katie) and Derek Hammond (Jamie), who were a pride and joy in his life.

Grandfather to Zander, Ava, Sullivan, Conner, Hunter, Chyanne, Trenton, Lucas, and Logan. His grandchildren brought immense happiness to his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Jerry is also survived by his siblings, Debbie, Brian, and Tammy, as well as stepsons David (Holly) and Christopher (Dawnie), all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Jerry was a private man who valued his space, but his love for his family was deep and unwavering. Known for his strong opinions and candid nature, he spoke his mind and lived life on his own terms. Those who knew him best understood the depth of his loyalty and the love he carried in his heart.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
