Jeanett Bodeewes, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away at Presbyterian Hospital, peacefully in her sleep. Born in Midland, Texas and raised in El Paso, Jeanett was the cherished daughter of Bessie and Joseph M. Caldwell.

She is predeceased by her parents, her sisters Maryann Harris and Louise Jones, her brothers Joseph Caldwell and Jack Caldwell, and most significantly, her beloved husband, Jack Bodeewes. Jeanett is survived by her loving daughters, Gretchen Garlow and her husband Dave, and Jami Williamson and her husband Scott. She is also survived by her son Bill Myers and his wife Gail, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who she cherished dearly.

Jeanett and Jack were a dynamic duo, combining their creative talents and business acumen to create successful ventures and a wonderful life together. Jeanett's love for golf was well known, and she was a proud member of the Lantana Golf Club. Her dedication to the "Rally for a Cure" charity was a testament to her generous spirit, as she worked tirelessly to raise funds for a cause close to her heart. In addition to her passion for golf, Jeanett had a remarkable eye for design, often lending her talents to assist family and friends. Her garden was a testament to her skill and dedication, particularly her prized heirloom tomatoes.

Jeanett's warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she met. Known for her wise counsel, she often advised those around her that when feeling down or discouraged, the best remedy was to do something kind for someone else, or to give away something that might help another.

A service to celebrate Jeanett's life will be held on September 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, located at 740 S. Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, TX 75067.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Texas Oncology - Flower Mound, Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound and to the staff at Arcy Hospice for their kind and compassionate care during Jeanett's time with them.

Jeanett Bodeewes will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will endure in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeanett's memory can be made to support blood cancer research, an organization she cared deeply about.
