Jean Marie Muller Haas was born on October 16,1939 in Earlville, Iowa. She was raised on a farm and enjoyed life with her four brothers and one sister. As a young lady, she met and fell in love with William (Bill) Muller.  They married in 1957 and began raising their 6 children. Jean enjoyed her family and her church.  She excelled in gardening and cooking for her family. After a move to Fond du Lac Wisconsin in 1978, their next move was to Highland Village Texas in 1996.  This brought them near several of their children. She worked at Auto Glass Specialists and then the Lewisville School District. Jean was a neighborhood favorite and enjoyed coffee on her patio with local neighbors after Bill's passing. Jean loved to play cards, bingo and dance at the local senior center where she met Ernest Haas. In 2016 Ernie and Mom married amongst family and friends. They continued to enjoy life at home and at the senior center. Jean and Ernie moved to an assisted living center in Dallas, TX after a brief illness to be closer to her family. At Belmont they enjoyed Circle of Friends, dining with other residents and Thursday night music events. Jean peacefully went to her Lord, Jesus Christ on June 13, 2026. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, William Muller, her son Jeffrey Muller, her daughter Jane Bere, granddaughter Lauren Bere and daughter-in-law Nicole Muller. She is survived by her husband Ernest Haas, her sister, Judy Kehoe (Lester), her brother Dick Recker (Barb), her four remaining children Julie Muller, Jenny Brunner (Earl), Joe Muller (Laura) and John Muller (Millie) and son-in-law John Bere (Lori). She also enjoyed her 8 grandchildren (Evan and Cameron Brunner, Zach and Sam Muller, William and Jeffrey Muller, Nicole Beal(Cameron) and Lauren Bere (deceased) and 4 great grandchildren (Reagan Griffith, Kenadee and McKinley Beal, and Caleb Guerrero).  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Flower Mound, Texas on Friday June 26 2026, at 11 am. Donations in lieu of flowers can made directly to St. Philip the Apostle Church.
