James Tredway, affectionately known as "Tredway," was born on May 29, 1967, and passed away on October 25, 2025. He grew up in Lewisville, Texas, where he graduated from Lewisville High School in 1985.

On August 2, 2003, James married the love of his life, Lori, at their home in Hickory Creek, Texas. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

James was a contractor by trade, but his true passion was cooking BBQ. He loved nothing more than sharing good food, good music, and good company with the people he cared about. In his younger years, he was an avid hunter and fisherman and horse trainer, and over time he developed a love for boating, golfing, and riding his Harley.

James had a big heart and an even bigger love for his family and friends. His warmth, humor, and easygoing spirit touched everyone who knew him, and his memory will forever live on in those he loved most.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Judy Lewis and Kenneth Tredway. James is survived by his loving wife, Lori; his children April (and son-in-law Jim Bob), Jamie (and son-in-law Brandon), Jayce (and daughter-in-law Lindsey), Brittney (and son-in-law Ryan); his bonus daughters Courtney (and son-in-law Craig) and Lauren; and his beloved grandchildren Hayden, Kylie, John, Carter, Caysen, Cameryn, Jackson, Brody, Kynzie, Max, Wyatt, Danni, Shep, Jadeyn, and Bray.

A memorial service will be held at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Ln., Lewisville, Texas, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, visitation starts at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at his home, 107 Hickory Ln., Hickory Creek, Texas.
