James (Jim) D. Fellwock, 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2023.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.

Born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa, Jim attended Central High School and would later continue his education after joining the Army and serving his country during the Korean Conflict.  Jim embarked on a successful career spanning 33 years with GMAC, where he rose to the position of Branch Manager overseeing operations in many states along the way.  His dedication and genuine care for others made a lasting impression on countless employees and friends.   Jim's favorite pastimes included fishing, bowling, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Mavericks.  He will be greatly missed and remembered for his love of God, his dedication to his family, and for his gift of sharing sage advice.

Jim raised five children with the love of his life and wife of 42 years, Margaret (Peggy) Fellwock.  He is survived by son Michael (Debbie) Fellwock, daughter Shelly Morgan, son Marc (Terri) Fellwock, and son Matt (Shannon) Fellwock.  Jim is also survived by grandchildren Jennifer, Jonathan, Kendall, Josh, Taylor, Timothy, Garrett, Michelene, Jacob, and Cole, as well as eight great-grandchildren.  He is survived by his sisters Judy Peterson and Mary (Bob) Dickey and five nieces and nephews.  Jim was preceded in death by his wife Peggy, his daughter Melissa (Kevin) Sayre, and his parents Kerwin and Nina Fellwock.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the North Texas Food Bank as a testament to Jim's generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 19, 7-8:00 p.m. at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.   A Catholic Burial Mass will take place on Wednesday, December 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Flower Mound.  Interment will follow immediately after at Flower Mound Cemetery.
