James Fred Cox, formally of Plano, Texas, was born May 6, 1936, in San Angelo, Texas, and passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025, in Highland Village, Texas at the age of 88 years old.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, January 3, 2018.

For Jim, his family was his crowning accomplishment:

Jim's children include:  Lyn Wojno, Cheryl Veal and husband Robert Veal, James Cox Jr and wife Melinda Cox.  Also, Leah Moore, Jamie Tracy and husband Matt.  Preceding him in death, David Vaughn.  And finally, just a few years ago his daughter, Christy Clark, came into his life through the blessing of adoption.

Jim's grandchildren include:  Joshua Houck and wife, Amanda, Jayke Wojno, Jessica Wojno, Stephanie Cortez and husband, Adrian, Tiffany Smith and husband, Tom, Bethany Williams and husband, Tim, Zack Cox, Tyler Cox, Chistopher Moore and wife, Hershey, Shelley Bennett and husband, Patrick, Colin Tracy, Brenna Tracy, Samantha Vaughan, Brandy Vaughan, and Sherry Vaughan

...and many, many great grandchildren!
