James A Castro, age 47, of Mesquite passed away suddenly, Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at his home.

He was born July 28 ,1977 in Garland, Texas.

James is survived by his wife Raquel, mother Catherine Lohre Ueckert and husband Dean, his father Amador Castro, step brother and sister Joe Ueckert and Bethany Wooster, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

James was a successful entrepreneur who loved  working hard on his promotion business for over 14 years. He loved his wife Raquel and all of his family.

James was a devoted husband and son. He loved all of the family get togethers, making sure he visited with everyone and especially playing with the kids.

James will no longer be sick as he is now at home with our Lord Jesus Christ.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025 with rosary beginning at 1:30 p.m. A service to celebrate James' life will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville.
