James Michael Boyer (Jim/Mike), age 78, of Flower Mound, Texas passed away on December 11, 2024.

Jim was born on July 15, 1946 in Camden, New Jersey to Betty Joe and James Edward Boyer.

Jim worked diligently in food sales throughout his life, traveling all of the United States, eventually making Texas his home (mostly because his wife said so). After decades of working for others, Jim decided to step away from corporate  life and create a business out of his passion, antique clocks. He built James Boyer Clock Repair, helping hundreds of people restore their lost treasured timepieces to prior glory. This measure in the last half of his life brought him a true sense of fulfillment and a renewed closeness with his grandfather who taught him everything there was to know about clocks.

Jim was a determined man, with a robust personality. He had a wide swing of emotion, always driven with passion. Whether he was saving a turtle, arguing, cheering for the Redskins and the Chicago White Sox, or in tears about Sinatra dying, he did it all with fervor. Growing up with Jim as a father, he taught hard work, discipline and not to quit.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Boyer; brother Phil (Karen) Boyer; son James (Meagan) Boyer; daughter Maggie (Anthony) Carabbio; granchildren Aubrie Boyer, Anthony Carabbio Jr, Clark Boyer and Olivia Carabbio.
