Jack Lynn Tiller, lovingly known by everyone as "Daddy Jack" was born on June 24, 1933, in Dallas County, to Byron Tiller and Bessie Dean Tiller, passed away on February 19, 2024.  He was a loving, hard working man who cared deeply for his family and friends.

As a young boy, he lived on a farm in East Texas where his mom and dad were sharecroppers. They didn't have electricity, gas, or running water; he took a bath in the creek most of the time. Later the family moved to Grand Prairie where they lived in old army barracks. As a teenager he spent much of his spare time playing baseball. He loved to tell stories of hitchhiking to the baseball field and would sneak into the stadium to watch games because he didn't have money for a ticket. He also claimed to have played a game of baseball with "Babe" Didrikson Zaharias when she was passing through Grand Prairie.

As a young man he worked at the A & P grocery store and Lone Star Gas where he met his future brother-in-law who introduced him to the love of his life, Bobbie Howard Cunningham. After marrying Bobbie on June 30, 1957, he worked in the plumbing business, learning the trade from Bobbie's two other brothers. In 1963 he took the test and received his Master Plumber license on the first try. With encouragement from family and friends he started his own business, Jack Tiller Plumbing. He had a Water Systems Operator License and was proud to have overseen Flower Mound New Town's water system for many years. After retiring from the plumbing business, he pursued his passion for leather work – the lost art of real hand-tooled leather accessories.

Jack is survived by his children Raymond "Paul" Cunningham and wife Debra; Jerry Lynn Cunningham and wife Kathy; Debra Kay Taber and husband Tony; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Bobbie; his parents Byron and Bessie Tiller; his two brothers Dean Tiller and Warren Tiller; five sisters, Marie Tolar, Melba Bryan, Bonnie Jones, Alice Vanderwilt, and infant Norma Jean Tiller; three grandchildren, Christopher "Mark" Cunningham and infant twins, Jason Paul and Jeremy Alan Cunningham.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. A service to celebrate Jack's life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville. Interment will follow at 3:00 pm at Bethel Cemetery in Decatur.
