Harvey LeRoy McClain passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Denton, Texas. At the age of 83.

Harvey was born in Dallas, Texas on April 1, 1941 to Roy and Hazel McClain. He lived and grew up in Lewisville, TX. Where he attended and graduated from Lewisville High School in 1960. He played football as a wide receiver for the Farmers, where he made the All-District team and was voted "Most Popular" his senior year.

Harvey worked in Lewisville for Huffines Chevrolet for 17 years as a technician, then became Service Representative for Chevrolet where he worked in the car business another 17 years. After his retirement from Chevrolet, he went back to work for the Huffines car dealers for several years in quality control.

Harvey has four Boys that he took Hunting, Fishing, traveling, and golfing. He attended many sporting events for his boys and he loved to play golf. He was kind, funny, and very easy to get along with. He had a gift of being able to talk to any stranger like they were his best friend and he loved the Lord. He was a loving husband, Father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Harvey is preceded in death by his wife Doris McClintock, his parents, Sister, and favorite dog Dolly.

Harvey is survived by his four son's: Kelly McClain (Sherrie), Chris McClain (Laura), Patrick McClain (Kristia) and Ryan McClain (Shelley). His three step-daughters; Tracy Scott (Rich), Julie McGee, Amy Salinas (Gabriel). His Grandchildren: Justin, Connor, Ashton, Reese, & Tatum. and Great grandkids: Teagan & Holden.

The funeral will be at Mulkey-Mason Funeral home in Lewisville on Wednesday, August, 7th at 11:00 am.
