Gregory Allen Frost, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and accomplished artist, died on January 16, 2026, in Carrollton, Texas at the age of 51.

Greg was born in South Bend, Indiana on August 10, 1974.  He spent his childhood in the Midwest and the Atlanta area before moving to Texas as a teenager.  He earned a degree in Fine Art and Philosophy from the University of North Texas, where he focused on painting and drawing and deepened his lifelong engagement with fundamental questions of art and meaning.

Greg was a longtime member of the Good/Bad Art Collective, a group of artists who created storied one-night events, including the "Curtains" project commissioned by the Nasher and their New York debut, "Joey on I.C.U."  His other passions included music and photography.  He was generous in all regards and reveled in sharing his knowledge and talent.  Above all else, he was a devoted father to his daughter Gabby, who filled his life with joy and profound meaning.

Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Janet, and is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle (Brooks), father Michael, and siblings Christopher (Deborah), Patrick, and Elizabeth (Brian).  Greg made everything more interesting and more fun; he will be deeply missed.
