Glenda Mae Taylor was a caring wife, mother, sister, and friend.  She left this world to be with our Lord on August 28, 2023.

She was born to Glen and Maebelle Greear on August 24, 1937.  After graduating from high school, Glenda began working in the civil service on Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, where she met her husband, Clay Taylor.  Together, they had 3 children: Chris, Josh and Esther.

Glenda loved being a homemaker and each of the kids had the privilege of coming home from school to see her there.  She spent some time homeschooling the kids before deciding to become a teacher at Temple Christian Academy.  Glenda went on from there to work at Accelerated Christian Education as a secretary.  In her "spare" time, she liked to sew, crochet, listen to gospel sings (her favorite was the Gaither Vocal Band), walk her dog Max, and go to church (oh, how she loved going to church!).

She and Clay were members of Temple Baptist Church since the 1980's.

A viewing is scheduled for 10am followed by a service at 10:30am on September 11, 2023, at Temple Baptist Church at 2501 Northshore Blvd., Flower Mound, TX 75028.  A luncheon will be held after the service and a short graveside ceremony at 1:30pm at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
