Gerald Lloyd Warren "Jerry" was born in Los Angeles, California to Lloyd Alfred Warren and Dorothy Maxine Beam Warren (Clark) on April 28, 1940.  He grew up in Hamilton and Missoula, Montana, graduating from Missoula County High School (Hells Gate High) in 1957. After high school he enlisted in the U S Navy.  He married Carol Marie Poitras from Missoula, and they had four children, traveling with the U S Navy to Yokosuka, Japan, Key West, Florida and Virginia Beach, Virginia, among other places.  He started his Navy career on the aircraft carrier the USS Hornet; he retired from the Navy in 1979 as a Chief Petty Officer, an aviator in Anti-Submarine Warfare.  He loved flying on P3 planes, hunting submarines in the Atlantic Ocean. After his retirement from the Navy, he worked in the financial industry and spent the last 18 years of his career auditing credit unions, retiring in 2018 from Doeren Mayhew CPA's.

Jerry and Carol were married for 40 years and after her untimely death he married Lou Ann Warren in 2000.  They enjoyed an active lifestyle of traveling, including many wonderful national park trips and cruises to far flung ports, their favorite cruise was the Mediterranean Cruise they took in 2012 from Barcelona to Rome.  Wine tasting was a favorite pastime, they especially enjoyed traveling to the California wine country and the Hill Country of Texas, visiting wineries with friends.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 24 years Lou Ann Warren, daughter Cynthia Lee Cunningham and her husband Robert Alfred of Virginia Beach, Virginia; son Gerald Lloyd Warren Jr and his wife Jill of Shady Shores, Texas, son Kellan David Warren of Paris, Texas, son Nicholas McClure Talbot of Lubbock, Texas,  his sister Janise Ament Arnold of Ashley, North Dakota; grandchildren Dionne Marie Cunningham (Colonna) and Robert Alfred Cunningham, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia,  Haley Belle Warren (White) of Sanger, Texas, Wesley Lloyd Warren of Kennedale, Texas, Connor David Warren of Dallas, Texas, Willem Edward Warren of Flower Mound, Texas, Cadence Lauren Talbot of Arlington, Texas, and five great grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Alfred Warren and mother Dorothy Maxine Clark; daughter Lynne Dianne Warren, granddaughter Claire Marie Warren, stepfather George Ament, Sr., brothers George Ament Jr. and John Lester Ament and his sister Linda Sue Ament Baese.

A memorial service will be held at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas on Friday December 13 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at a later date at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
