Gayle Armstrong (Wyatt), age 79, formerly of Duncan Oklahoma went to her heavenly
home Saturday, May 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Gayle was not just a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-
love, aunt and friend, but also a pillar of our community. Her kindness, generosity,
and unwavering faith in God were unparalleled, and she touched the lives of all who
knew her with her love, servant heart, and gentle guidance.

Gayle is survived by her wonderful husband (Jerry Armstrong), daughter (Angela
Armstrong of Richardson, TX), son (John Armstrong and wife Tracy of Denton, TX),
daughter (Stephanie Gardner and husband Casey of Flower Mound, TX), sister
(Pamela Davis and husband Kimble of Tulsa, OK), brother (Bobby Beck and wife
Reba of Duncan, OK), seventeen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, thirteen
nieces and nephews, and countless "adopted" children all over the world.

Gayle was born December 27, 1944 to Bertha Wyatt and her biological father, Leslie
Wyatt. The wonderful, loving man that would be her daddy, Robert Beck, married her
mother in 1958. Although Gayle was given the name "Susanna" at birth, she loathed
that name and preferred her middle name, Gayle. She attended Plato Elementary in Duncan
Oklahoma and graduated from Duncan High School in 1962. Gayle attended Plato
Baptist Church in Duncan for many years until she married the love of her life and our
loving father, Jerry Clede Armstrong, on November 8, 1963. Soon after, she found
herself moving cross country, leaving her quaint, rural hometown for the West Coast
of California, and later settling down in Lewisville Texas in 1971.

She is preceded in death by her biological father (Leslie Wyatt Sr), mother (Bertha
Beck), loving daddy (Robert Beck), daughter (Clarinda Armstrong), grandson
(Channing Gardner), brother (Leslie Wyatt Jr), and other family members.

Gayle had a fulfilling career at Trinity Universal Insurance and Five Star Pools, Inc.
She was a dedicated member of many churches over the years, including Plato Baptist
Church, Shiloh Baptist Church, Old Orchard Baptist Church, Cathedral of Praise
Carrollton, Living Word Family Church, Heartland, and City Gate. Her service to these
houses of God was always illuminated by her cheerful praises and prayers as she
diligently ensured every inch was impeccably spotless.

Gayle enjoyed playing the piano, praising God, baking, cooking family dinners, and
crocheting the most beautiful and softest baby blankets for new family members and
countless others, with each stitch blessed with hours of love and prayer.

Gayle was a saint whose kindness knew no bounds. A beacon of love and faith, she
touched the lives of everyone she met. Her nurturing spirit enriched our lives beyond
measure. Her unwavering faith and gentle guidance were a source of strength to us all.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and grace that will continue to inspire
us. Rest in peace. You will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
