Gary "Brent" Ball, has peacefully departed this life of natural causes. Born on April 12, 1962, Brent, as he was known to family and friends, lived a life dedicated to the compassionate care of others and ever pursuing his passion for music.

Throughout his career as a Registered Nurse, Brent demonstrated unwavering commitment to his patients and colleagues, embodying the core tenets of the Nightingale pledge. His professional life was a testament to his innate desire to help those in need.

Beyond his calling for healthcare, Brent was an accomplished musician/multi instrumentalist, whose love for the craft was evident in every note he played.

Brent is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara, and son, Corey Ball.

Brent's legacy lives on through his beloved children, Allison and Sean Ball, his niece Alesha Knight, his cherished granddaughter, Sia Vasilisa Ball, and his sister, Angela Caillet. His memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him, much like the music he so dearly loved.

As we bid farewell to Brent, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, free from all earthly pain. As we sit with our grief, let us take what solace we can from the fact.

A service to celebrate Brent's life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service
