Ethel Mayzell Holt, of Lewisville, Texas, went peacefully to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 2:06 p.m., at her daughter's home in Justin, Texas. She was born on October 21, 1943, in Bennington, Oklahoma, to Willie J. and Rosabell Starnes, who preceded her in death.

Ethel lived a life filled with devotion to her family, strength through trials, and an abundance of love that touched everyone she met. She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose presence brought comfort and warmth to those around her. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert Holt, and is survived by her three daughters: Angela Podgorny, Sheila Clark, and Shonda Holt. Ethel's legacy continues through her 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, all of whom were her greatest source of pride and joy.

To her family, Ethel was the heart of the home—a guiding light who taught compassion, resilience, and faith. She had a gentle spirit, but a fierce love for those she cared for, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many others whose lives she touched.

A memorial service to celebrate Ethel's life will be held on Saturday, October 4th, at 12:00 p.m., at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, located at 740 Edmonds Ln, Lewisville, TX 75067.Ethel's life was a testament to the power of love, and though she has left this earthly home, her spirit will live on in the family she so deeply cherished.
