Eloyce Montez Anderson, 89, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026. She was born on January 12, 1937, in Doddsville, Mississippi to J.T. and Clara Squires of Indianola, Mississippi.

Eloyce will be remembered for her warm smile, positive attitude toward life and commitment to family and friends. After 40-plus years as a devoted Dallas Independent School District special education teacher, Eloyce's commitment to church and the church community – especially the Dorcas Circle – grew even stronger.

Preceded in death by her husband Gale after a 23-year marriage, Eloyce is survived by sons Richard, John and David. Additional family includes daughters in-law Cathy and Lou Ann plus grandchildren Louis, Alexandra and husband Kyle. Eloyce also leaves a sister, Peggy, and brother-in-law Glenn along with nieces, Melanie and Lisa.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, at the First United Methodist Church of Lewisville, 907 West Main Street, Lewisville, TX 75067.
