It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Anne Sanders who departed this life peacefully on June 5, 2025 at the age of 88 at home surrounded by family members.

Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She brought warmth, kindness and unwavering compassion to all who knew her.  Her gentle spirit, thoughtful nature and strength left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Throughout her life, Elizabeth dedicated herself to her family and friends.  Always giving a helping hand when needed.  She worked as a Cafeteria Manager at Canyon Creek Elementary School for over 20 years.  She was known to all for her deep empathy, quiet strength and her ability to make others feel seen and heard.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Tommy Sanders, Daughters - Mary and husband Steve Stasio and Carla and husband Paul Forres.  Son – Tim and wife Ruth Sanders.  Grandchildren – Justin Stasio, Sarah Stasio, Nathan Stasio, Joshua Forres, Jacob Forres, Lindsay Brown and Austin Sanders.  And 10 great grandchildren.  We all will continue to honor her legacy through our love and memories.

A Celebration of Life for Elizabeth will be held on June 12, 2025, at 11:00 am at Mulkey & Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas.  All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
