Elaine McPherson passed away from the devastating effects of cancer on July 9th 2023 at her home in Argyle, TX.   Elaine was born in Gainesville, Georgia to Herbert Lewis Robinson and Louise Rose Robinson (Fleming) on August 31st, 1951.   She attended Sequoia High School in Atlanta, Georgia. On April 12, 1969 she married Jim McPherson at Winters Chapel Baptist Church in Doraville, Georgia.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years and her two children: Adrienne and her husband Rob Stahl, and Gregg McPherson and his wife Tami (Sandman).  Also by 5 grandchildren:  Michael Brown and wife Kaitlyn, Austin Brown and wife Riley,  and Andrew, Nolan, and ElliAne McPherson. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; Emma, Haleigh, Ethan and Owen Brown, as well as Nathan, Waylon, Weston, Gus, Lincoln, and Layla Brown.

Throughout her life she worked with Jim at their various companies, starting with Avionics Components, moving into Dallas Aerospace and finishing with Avamerica.  She also served faithfully in various capacities at First Baptist Church of Flower Mound, mostly working in accounting there. She cared endlessly for her family and was a loyal and dependable friend.

Elaine found solace and strength in her faith in Jesus as her personal savior which guided her throughout her life. She delighted in sharing her faith with others when given the opportunity.  And she delighted in her family.

Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, July 22 2023, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Flower Mound with Pastor David Winchell officiating.  Arrangements are by Mulkey Mason Funeral Home.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, to help them understand, treat and defeat childhood cancers.
