With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Edwin "Ed" Leon Rawlins, who left us peacefully on November 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Edwin was the heart of our family — a man of warmth, strength, and gentle wisdom. His laughter could light up a room, and his kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He lived each day with purpose, faith, and love, always putting others before himself.

Born on December 4, 1950, Edwin lived a full and meaningful life. He was a hardworking man who took pride in everything he did, but his greatest joy came from his family. He found happiness in the simple moments — sharing stories, offering advice, and spending time with those he loved most.

Edwin is survived by his loving partner Donna Thompson; his daughter Wendi (Jason) Bishop; and his son Brian (Joey) Rawlins. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to eight wonderful grandchildren: Justin (Sara) Rawlins, Colt (Stephanie) Krnavek, Miranda (Carter) Andrews, Hannah Rawlins, Brandon (Sam) Rawlins, Josh (Ashton) Rawlins, Taylor Votruba, and Reis Rawlins.

He was also blessed with eight cherished great-grandchildren: Aubree, Jaxson, Jusslynn, Gunner, Reagan, Briggs, Kane, and Piper who brought him endless joy and filled his heart with love and laughter.

Edwin was preceded in death by his father James Rawlins, his mother Juanita Rawlins, his sister Mary Rawlins, and his beloved grandson Zach Rawlins.

A celebration of Edwin's life will be announced at a later date, when family and friends can gather to honor his memory and share the love he gave so freely.

Though our hearts ache with his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Edwin's spirit lives on in the love of his family, in the lessons he shared, and in the countless memories that will forever warm our hearts.
