With deep sorrow and enduring love, we announce the passing of Diana Sue Story, who left this world on June 7, 2025, at the age of 64. Diana was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend—an extraordinary woman whose life was as vibrant and unapologetically authentic as she was.

Born on September 14, 1960, Diana lived boldly and fiercely, never one to follow a path simply because it was expected. She was a true free spirit, an artist whose creativity flowed through every aspect of her life. Whether with a brush, a story, or a gesture, she left color and beauty wherever she went.

Diana was strong-willed in the most loving way—she did things her way, and those who knew her were better for it. She had a heart full of passion, an unwavering sense of self, and a deep devotion to the people she held dear.

She is survived by her three children: Daniel Pruiett, Joseph Pruiett, and Suzie Story—each a reflection of her strength, humor, and individuality.

Diana was also the proud grandmother to eight earthly and one heavenly cherished grandchildren:
– From Daniel: Alexis and Liam Pruiett
– From Joseph: Ezekiel, Delilah, and Ruth Pruiett
– From Suzie: Jack Kaatz, Daniel Vanloozen, and Lillianna Vanloozen

She also leaves behind her loving siblings, James Story and Cindy Story along with their children, who shared in her life's many adventures and memories.

Diana's life was not lived quietly—it was vivid, full of color, laughter, defiance, love, and movement. Her presence filled a room, her voice carried truth, and her spirit will forever echo in the lives of those she touched.

A private memorial was held gathering her kids and grandkids all in one place to celebrate her life. In her honor, the family encourages all who knew her to celebrate life boldly, love freely, and create something beautiful—just as she always did.
