It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of  Deborah S. Perella, who passed away peacefully on July 12th, 2026 at the age of 77.

Debby was born on January 3rd, 1949 in Mexico City to Raymond & Susan Seifert. Debby lived a life filled with love, kindness and dedication to family, friends and her community.  She will be remembered for her warm heart, witty sense of humor, generosity, and the positive impact she had on everyone who knew her. Debby never forgot a birthday of her family and friends.

Debby lived on her own terms, with remarkable strength, independence, and grace. She had a determined spirit and a kind heart, always willing to help others while expecting little in return. Her gentle nature, quite generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends made everyone around her feel welcomed, valued and deeply loved.

Debby is survived by Husband David Joseph Perella, son Glen David Perella (deceased), daughter Janine Marie Perella, brother Raymond Roberts Seifert, nephew Mark Robert Seifert, niece Janine Seifert (Jairo Zambrano), grandson Dave Nathan Gahagan, great-niece Sofia Zambrano, great-nephews Daniel Zambrano and Diego Zambrano as well as, many other family members and dear friends.

Throughout her life, Debby enjoyed puzzles, card games, plants and flowers, birds, cats, skiing in Colorado, golfing, and traveling abroad. Debby graduated from Universidad de las Américas, in Puebla, Mexico with a BA. She spoke 3 languages (Spanish, English and French) fluently.  She retired from IBM as a 2nd Line Manager where she met Dave.  Due to her passion for books and reading, Debby was instrumental for establishing a meticulously organized library for the community of Watermere at Flower Mound. She volunteered with First Responders, Citizens Patrol and was a member of the Colleyville Lions Club. Debby found great joy in spending time with family and friends.   She loved elegant date night dinners with friends while creating lasting memories with those she loved.

A memorial will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd at 2:00PM at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 South Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, TX 75067.  Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Debby's extraordinary life.       In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Flower Mound Fire Fighter Foundation at fmff.tx@gmail.com or Flower Mound Santa Cops at www.fmcpaaa.org/santacops.

Debby will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.  May she rest in peace knowing she truly lived life her way: with independence, grace and a heart full of love.
