David Charles Kessler, age 80, passed away on Monday September 16, 2024, at his home in Lewisville, Texas. David was born on September 14,1944 in Johnstown, PA to Charles and Mary Louise Kessler. On May 15, 1971, David married his beloved wife Patsy in Augusta, Georgia. David and Patsy settled in Lewisville, TX where they raised their son, Kevin.

David was a proud and loyal employee of Delta Airlines for 38 years; working in Miami, Chicago, Dallas Love Field, and ending up at Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport upon completion of its construction in the early 1970's. He served Delta in many different ground support capacities, ranging from ramp to supervisory customer service roles until his retirement in 2001.

David and Patsy were avid travelers throughout their marriage and even in retirement spent every moment they could on the road in their motorhome. They both had a passion for visiting national parks and RV rallies. Following his retirement, David served as the Vice President of the Newmar International Chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association. David was a former Eagle Scout and was very involved in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. David served for 50 years promoting boater safety in and around Lake Lewisville. David was a qualified Boat Crew Coxswain and Air Observer in addition to holding various offices including Flotilla Vice Commander of Flotilla 5-9 and an Assistant on the National Conference Staff.

David had an unforgettable smile and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had an incredible devotion to his family, especially his wife. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

David is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patsy Kessler, his son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Nora Kessler, his brother Rick Kessler and his granddaughters Jules and Ryann Kessler. David is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Louise Kessler.

A liturgy of the word will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Lane in Lewisville. A memorial visitation will follow at 11:00 a.m. and will continue until 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.

David was actively involved in the Flower Mound and Lewisville senior community. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Town of Flower Mound Senior Center or the City of Lewisville Senior Center.
