Daron Jay Bush, a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, a loving husband, a dedicated father, a trusted leader, and a cherished friend, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025, at the age of 60 in Highland Village, Texas. Surrounded by his beloved family, Daron's earthly journey ended after a long battle of health challenges following complications from a jaw surgery, leaving behind a legacy of faith, integrity, and love.

Born on February 3, 1964, in Vernal, Utah, Daron was the third son to Clifford M. Bush and Carol Ann Maxfield Bush and grew up in Provo, Utah in a loving home with five brothers and two sisters (Steven, Kerry, Wayne, Kristeen, Cindy, Kevin, and David).  At an early age he learned the value of hard work and a love of sports of all kinds.  Daron was a beacon of light to all who knew him. His life was firmly anchored in his faith in Jesus Christ, and he dedicated himself to emulating the Savior's life through his actions, words, and unwavering morals. As a young man, he served faithfully as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Santiago, Chile, sharing the gospel with humility and joy. Throughout his life, he was an active and devoted member of his Church, working extensively with young men and in various leadership capacities, exemplifying the teachings of Christ in all that he did.

Daron's greatest joy was his family. He was the loving and steadfast husband of Staci Edwards Bush. Married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on December 18, 1987, Daron and Staci recently celebrated 37 years of marriage, a union marked by mutual devotion, laughter, and an enduring partnership. Together, they shared a love of traveling to cheer on their BYU Cougars and built a home filled with faith, love, and treasured memories. Daron's deep love for Staci was evident to all, and he set a profound example of how to cherish and honor one's spouse. As a father, Daron's love and devotion knew no bounds.

He is survived by his children, Collin & Ali Bush, Corey & Becca Bush, Brandon & Malleri Bush, and Ellie & Nickolas Kirby, who each carry forward his legacy of faith, integrity, and love. His grandchildren, Nolan, Kyla, Palmer, Frankie, and Olivia Jo, held a special place in his heart, and he delighted in playing games of all kinds with them and in their smiles, laughter, and one-on-one time with them. Daron was preceded in death by his son, Trevor Bush, and his mother, Carol Ann Bush, whom he has now reunited with in eternal joy and peace.

Daron's professional life reflected his commitment to excellence and his ability to inspire those around him. A graduate of Provo High School (1982) and Brigham Young University (1991), Daron's love for his alma mater and its athletic teams made him a true BYU superfan. His career began at Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI and culminated at Volkswagen of America in Dallas, TX where he was the Director of Regional Sales Operations for the Central Region. Daron was admired and respected by his work family at Volkswagen, where he fostered a culture of trust, hard work, and camaraderie.

To his friends, Daron was a source of joy, loyalty, and kindness. His genuine warmth, quick wit, and ability to connect with others made him beloved by all who knew him. Whether on the golf course, at a BYU football or basketball game, or simply enjoying the beauties of the outdoors when hunting, fishing, or camping, Daron's presence brought light and happiness to those around him.

A man of integrity, strong principles, and tireless work ethic, Daron exemplified what it means to live a Christ-centered life. His faith, love, and dedication will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 902 Chinn Chapel Rd, Highland Village, TX 75077. A viewing will precede the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the church.

The following week, a visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Berg Mortuary, 185 E Center St, Provo, UT 84606.

Daron Jay Bush's life was a testament to faith, family, and friendship. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
