Darlene Jackson was born November 28, 1968 in Denton, Texas to Evelyn Battle-Simmons and Roger Henderson. She departed this life on November 30, 2024. She was preceded in death by Evelyn Battle Simmons (mother), Roger Henderson (father), Ruthie V. Lofton (maternal grandmother), Ross Battle (maternal grandfather), Lillie Henderson (paternal grandmother), Roger Henderson Sr. (paternal grandfather), Anthony Alvin Brown Jr. (son) and a baby son.

Darlene leaves to cherish her, a daughter, Elizabeth Scott of Denton, Texas, two grandsons, Michael Rios and Jayvion Rios, a sister, Arleine Battle-Thomas (Marcus) of Justin, Texas, five brothers, Lawrence Battle Sr. (Norma) of Newark, Texas, James Battle Sr. (Tiffany) of Denton, Texas, Roger Henderson of Denton, Texas and Victor Richard(Rose) of Denton Texas, Freddie Garrett of Denton,Texas. Two special sisters Tammy Battle of Denton,Texas and Glorita Battle of Bakersfield California and a host of others who love her.

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday December 14, 2024 11a.m. at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 740 S. Edmonds Ln. Lewisville, Tx 75067.
