Darin David Adkisson of Lewisville, Texas was born August 13, 1969 and went to be with His Lord Jesus on January 6, 2024.  Darin was 54 years old.  Darin was a Christian and loved Jesus.  He was baptized in 1979.  Darin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford and Brownie Hodge, Ben Adkisson Sr. and wife Malena, and Grace Adkisson, and uncles Ben H. Adkisson Jr., John M. Adkisson, and Tim L. Adkisson.  He is survived by his parents, David and Ruth Adkisson, sisters April Adkisson and friend Leigh Miller, and Robin Reed Tischler and husband Michael, aunts and uncles Kenneth and Pat Hodge, Ray and Heidi Hodge, Cliff and Shelia Hodge, Bill and Janice Hodge, Ann Ingram, and niece Tiffany Reed and nephew Brandon Reed, and many cousins, great nieces and a nephew.

Darin graduated from Lewisville High School and attended college at Southwest Texas State and Brookhaven.  Darin worked for CSI and did construction and remodeling most of his life.  His love was vintage cars and trucks that he could paint and restore.  He could repair most anything just by looking it up on the internet.  The last several years he was a caregiver for his parents.

Darin's life was celebrated Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the home of his parents.  It was a very private intimate service because Darin was a very private person.  Darin's ashes will be spread at the Red River where in earlier years he loved to ride his Honda dirt bike.

Darin's passing was due to a hemorrhagic stroke.  The doctors and nurses at Medical City Denton Hospital were so compassionate and caring to Darin.  If you want to make a donation in Darin's honor please make to Lakeland Baptist Church of Lewisville, Tx.
