Cynthia "Kathy" McKay Jordan of Highland Village, Texas passed away peacefully on
September 4th, 2024 in Highland Village. Kathy was born in Grapevine to Jesse and Ina Pearl
McKay on March 26, 1955. She graduated from Lewisville High School in 1974.
Kathy worked as a dispatcher for Trinity Industries and Walmart for several years. Kathy
loved going to the casino, car rides, movies, and shopping. She enjoyed the company of all
dogs.

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband Michael Jordan, her parents Jesse and Ina
Pearl McKay, brother Roy Keith McKay Sr., sisters Adeline McKay Johnson and Mary McKay
Kirbo, and nephews Tommy Johnson and Roy Keith McKay Jr.
Kathy is survived by nephew Terry (Jo) Johnson, nieces Robyn (James) Horton,
Michelle (George) Griffin, Ginger McKay, Traci (Rob) Verdeyen, Becky (Billy) Watson, and
Linley Harvick, and great nieces and nephews Haylee Horton, Hayden Horton, Jacob Johnson,
John (Hallie) Johnson, Kristin Browning, Joshua (Karely) Vernon, Nathan Vernon, Kinsey
McKay, Paige (Hunter) Greer, and Baylee Mihalakis, and many great-great nieces and
nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the fall. Arrangements are by Mulkey-
Mason. Memorials may be given to Hickory Creek Animal Shelter in lieu of flowers. The family
requests any pictures of Kathy you may have, be sent to Robyn or Haylee Horton so they can
be included in her video.

The family of Kathy wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to Rambling Oaks
Courtyard Extensive Care Community and Arcy Hospice for the excellent care they provided.
