Cynthia Elise DeKeyzer was born December 20th, 1978, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Richard DeKeyzer and Theresa Thompson. She grew up a fun-loving child and carried a zest for life with her wherever she went.

She attended her first two years of high school in Many, LA and then moved to Allen, TX where she graduated from Allen High School class of 1997. During her high school years, she was a member of the band where they won state and earned the opportunity to perform at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin, Ireland. After high school, Cindy attended the University of Phoenix where she would graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in business. Cindy met her husband James in the fall of 2003 and were later married in January of 2007. Their oldest son Walker was born on July 31st, 2008, and their youngest son Wyatt was born October 9, 2010. Cindy adopted her Labrador, Sky from an animal rescue organization and later, Sky would become the inspiration for the name of Cindy's 2015 blue Jeep Wrangler, which she absolutely loved to go off-roading in. Sky would also become the name of the dog treats business founded by Cindy and Wyatt, Sky-tastic treats. She also had a love for painting which would then lead her to start a face-painting business that allowed her to put smiles on so many faces.

Cindy always took every chance to live life to its fullest, she never knew a stranger, and was not afraid to dare to take a chance in life. Cindy worked for Teladoc where she was employed as a Compliance Analyst until mid-2023, when she was promoted to Clinical Quality Specialist. Cindy passed away at home on September 7th, 2023, surrounded by her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in honor of Cindy be made to the below dog rescue for the immense love Cindy had for all dogs.
