Cynthia "Cindy" Cheetham, age 72, of Denton, TX, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, in Denton, TX.

She was born July 1, 1952, in Miami, Florida to Donovan Leo Gibson and Marion Jean Goetschius Gibson.  Cindy was active in her local church until she left Miami in 2003, dedicating much of her time volunteering to assist families with special needs.

She is survived by her daughter Brandy Peel (and husband Christopher), son William Cheetham, grandchildren: Hailey Cheetham (15), Robert Peel (13), Micah Peel (10), and a multitude of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by both parents, sister Barbara Doty, sister Bonnie Benvenuto, brother Jeffrey Gibson, and niece Gina McKinney.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.
