Curtis Craig Ferguson was born on November 23, 1959, and passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at his home surrounded by his wife, son and family.

Curtis grew up in Farmers Branch attending elementary and junior high, and R.L. Turner High School.  After high school, he started working as a mechanic for several automotive shops in the area but spent the last 27 years working for Richard and Sheila Maddox at North Texas Transmission. Curtis had a very strong work ethic. He was someone you could always count on to fix the issue with your vehicle.

In his early 20's, he spent a lot of time at the lake boating and skiing with his cousin Danny Forsee. Curtis also loved to go fishing when he got the chance. He was also very active in the LISD FFA program helping his son and niece raising their show animals.

Whether discussing cars, sharing a beer with friends, road trips to the Texas Hill Country, or being Chi-Chi to Henley, he appreciated the moments that brought family and friends together. Curtis' spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of every person who were lucky enough to know him.

Curtis is survived by his wife Patti Ferguson, son Grady Dallas Ferguson, sister Joanna Grimmer (Tom), Suzanna Miller (George), Lizzie Martin (Mark), brother Slade Ferguson, cousin Danny Forsee (Liz), sister-in-laws Kathy Gravley, Susan Shipman, Amy Baker, mother-in-law Joyce Tucker and many nieces and nephews.

Curtis was welcomed into heaven by his parents Bruce and Jeanetta Ferguson, brother Kenton Ferguson, and many other friends and family members who preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home Chapel.
