Corey Blaine Smith, a man whose kindness knew no bounds and whose laughter brightened every room, passed away at the age of 60 on June 7, 2025, at his home in Flower Mound, Texas. Born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1964, Corey had an extraordinary gift for connecting with people, truly never meeting a stranger. His servant's heart and unwavering sense of humor were cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

After growing up in Rochester Hills, Michigan, Corey moved around the country before settling in Texas in 2001. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of North Texas in 2004. He dedicated an impressive 33 years to General Motors, where he was a valued member of their Wholesale team, leaving a significant impact throughout his distinguished career. His kindness and generous spirit touched countless lives, making him a beloved figure to colleagues and friends alike.

Corey is survived by his beloved daughter, Lauren Smith; his devoted mother, Diane Smith; and his dear brothers, Nathan Smith and Bradley Smith, along with Bradley's wife, Judith Smith. Corey was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to Lutheran Bible Translators, an organization meaningful to Corey.
