Colonel George Costas Arvanetaki, 92, peacefully passed away on March 7, 2025, in Argyle, Texas. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he lived in Avon, Connecticut, during his working years and later retired to Hillsborough, New Hampshire, dedicating his life to service, education, and family.

Before embarking on a distinguished military career, he was an industrial arts teacher and department head at Hartford High School, shaping the lives of his students with his knowledge and passion for teaching. He later served in the U.S. Air Force with the 103rd Tactical Fighter Group at Bradley Air Force Base, retiring in 1992 as Vice Commander after years of honorable service.

George was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. A man of God, he lived his life with faith and resilience, often reminding those around him to "put one foot in front of the other and let God do the rest."

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, B. Estelle Arvanetaki, and is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish his wisdom, kindness, and strength.
